In the spring of 1984, Muffy VanderBear came to life as the fifth member of the VanderBear Family. A fully jointed teddy bear, like the rest of her family, Muffy VanderBear by the North American Bear Company is made in soft, rich golden beige plush with black eyes, a hand stitched embroidered nose. and Muffy has a "smile".
Each Limited Edition Muffy comes beautifully boxed, for perfect gift-giving.

In honor of her first appearance in a Collector's Edition, Muffy VanderBear fancies herself as Pierrot, the classic mime of french theater. For Muffy, it is not just a charade. This limited engagement inspired her pantalooned arrival in 20,000 individually numbered pieces. Muffy comes dressed in a white velvet suit trimmed in black with black satin hat and slippers. She carries a Mime Mask and Marionette bunny and comes in a Puppet Theater box.
