From a Collection of Vintage European Traditionally Dressed Dolls.
Vintage Italian costume doll in regional dress, with a basket of oranges. 9 inches tall. Cloth and hard plastic with a hand-painted mask face. Side-glancing brown eyes with eyelashes, brown eyebrows. Rosebud mouth.
Tucked under her right arm is a small wicker basket holding three fabric oranges and three green felt leaves in very good condition. She has a mask face, hard plastic hands, black slip-on shoes. Left arms appears to be loosely strung. Side-glancing eyes with upper eyelashes, rosebud mouth, black hair with center part.
Costume consists of a red and blue felt bodice over cream sleeves that are showing age, with a tear in the right sleeve and a mark at the neckline, blue and red skirt with floral trim above hem, lace-edged apron.
